Why History Mark Twain Historical Fiction.
I’ve always been fascinated with History. The older I get, the more fascinated I become. What started my journey was my father. A chemist, who was also a history buff, especially military history. We would watch historical movies together and dad would explain them.
Mark Twain is by far one of my favorite people in history. Most Americans have read Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. It’s his books about travel and his quips that are the funniest.
I don’t want to treat history as just a lesson, but treat it with humor. Also, the historical forks in the road. Why did A and not B happen? You can treat history with sarcasm.
